TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck

• Standard Course: Suitable for beginners and all levels of experience.

• Advanced Course: Suitable for those with good experience operating a forklift, have excellent language skills and require completion of a workbook before attending, includes no practical training.

• How Long: 2 days (1 day for Advanced), including assessment.

• Night Course: 3 nights (2 nights for Advanced), including assessment.

• Outcome: Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck AND National High-Risk Work Licence (LF).

Apply to Worksafe WA for your National High Risk Work Licence (LF Class) within 60 days at an Australia Post Office*. Your Photo Licence will be mailed to you directly. Valid for 5 Years.

HIGH REACH FORKLIFT LICENCE COURSE (LF)

TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck

What is a High Reach Forklift?

Reach forklifts, also known as reach trucks, get their names from the distinctive way in which their fork carriages can ‘reach’ into racking. This type of machine is covered by a LF High Risk Work Licence, however most courses do not cover High Reach machines unless specified. Licence 4 Work has industry standard High Reach Machines available to ensure you get the training you need.

• This course includes training for BOTH a standard counterbalance forklift truck (LF) as well as a High Reach forklift truck.

• Standard Course: Suitable for beginners and all levels of experience. 

• Advanced Course: Suitable for those with good experience operating a forklift, have excellent language skills and require completion of a workbook before attending.

• How Long: 2 days (1 day for Advanced) for counterbalance forklift training includes assessment then attendance of 3-4 hours for High Reach Forklift training. 3-4 hours of High Reach Training is booked on the day and is additional to the time required for your Counterbalanced forklift training (included in the price!).

• Outcome: Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck AND National High-Risk Work Licence (LF)  AND High Reach Certificate.

VERIFICATION OF COMPETENCY (VOC)

• This process is designed for those already holding a High Risk Work Licence (unexpired) that need their competency to be verified.

• Verification of Competency process available for LF (Counterbalance Forklift)

• Verification of Competency process available for LO (Order Picker Forklift)

• Simple Process - Book, complete online questionnaire, book for knowledge and practical assessment, attain verification certificate (total attendance time is up to 2 hours)

• Outcome: Verification of Competency certificate

VERIFICATION OF COMPETENCY STUDENT JOURNEY - How Does this course work?

2. Attend 1 Day of Testing

You will need to provide evidence of completion of a LF, LO or WP licence. You then complete a knowledge and practical assessment. Total attendance time – 2 hours.

3. Receive your Verification of Competency

Once verified, you will receive a Verification of Competency from Licences for Work.
